The Basketball is a sport, which benefits the development of the psychomotor capacity and intelligence of the young generation. Taking the very first steps of the educational process in their PE classes at school or in the sports clubs, the growing up basketball players benefit greatly from them, and their importance is increasing. The aim of the investigation is to study the speed and precision of the moves and operational thinking of 12 to 18 year-old basketball players within a 20-year long period. There have been noted only minimal insignificant differences towards improvement of the operational thinking as well as in the speed and precision of the moves.
