„От отговорността за другия до любовта към ближния: една реплика на св. Йоан Златоуст към етиката на Емануел Левинас”
Сб. "Християнство и култура", бр. 4 (27), София.
This study is an attempt for theological comprehension and esti¬mation of Emmanuel Levinas`s ethics of responsibility in the terms of the ecclesiology of love towards the fellowman in the st. John Chrysostom `s the¬ology of love. By means of his philosophy Levinas overcome the closed on¬tology of the subject (intrinsic to the west metaphysics until Heidegger) and opens a new horizon of the philosophical thought – the relationship and dialogue with the other. According to him the mystery of the human existence manifests itself in the experience of meeting the other, which means before the face of other, in the relationship of care, responsibility and sacrifice for the other before the face of the par excellence Other (the God). In this way Levinas lays the foundations of an ontological ethics of responsibility for the other – an ethics that does not allow the objectiva¬tion of the ethic-religious experience, an ethics that has its own categories „the other”, „responsibility” and „sacrifice” for him.
