The present paper makes a compare/contrast analysis between the modes of constructive perspective and perspective projection in 3D graphics software. The analysis is based on the historical development of the study of perspective, as well as on the mathematical treatment of the issue at a later stage. This leads to the conclusion that the 3D graphics can be viewed as a proper Fine Arts' medium.
