Formulae for differential phase shift computation in a circular waveguide with azimuthally magnetized ferrite which sustains normal TE01 mode are derived by means of an iterative procedure, based on the boundary-value problem approach. For any frequency the differential phase shift is determined directly from the structure parameters through specially tabulated factors. The most general formula uses only one coefficient for all sets of waveguide parameters and frequencies.
