On an Application of Iterative Method of Circular Ferrite-Dielectric Waveguide Analysis

The boundary-value problem approach, extended with an iterative procedure, is applied to get the phase characteristics of a circular waveguide, filled with azimuthally magnetized ferrite, the outer part of which is replaced by isotropic dielectric toroid with permittivity much larger than that of the ferrite. The most important result is that the differential phase shift provided attains its peak values for all combinations of structure parameters at a distance from its axis equal to 0.627612.
