Basic and Complementary Areas of Magnetic Field Polarization in a Ferrite-Filled Circular Waveguide

Computations of the ellipticity of magnetic field of normal TE0n modes in an azimuthally magnetized ferrite-loaded circular waveguide are made. Further to the basic areas of polarization, existing in the dielectric-filled circular guide, a complementary area of polarization appears, due to the presence of the ferrite. A simple model of ferrite-microwave field interaction is suggested for TE01 mode, of interest for practical phaser designs.
