Differential Phase Shifts in the Ferrite-Dielectric Circular Waveguide

The normalized differential phase shift (NDPS) for normal TE01 mode in an azimuthally magnetized ferrite-dielectric circular waveguide, obtained when the remanent magnetization of the ferrite is latched, is computed and presented graphically. The influence of parameters of geometry and material filling on phase shifting properties of the structure is investigated. A region of linearity between the NDPS and off-diagonal element of ferrite permeability tensor is established.
