Some Characteristics of the Circular Waveguide with Remanent Ferrite Toroid

The propagation of TE0n modes in a circular waveguide with a dielectric rod and remanent ferrite toroid with azimuthal magnetization is considered. An exact numerical solution of characteristic equation for TE01 mode is performed, giving the phase characteristics of the structure. The differential phase shift produced by latching the ferrite remanent magnetization is computed for a variety of geometry and material parameters.
