 The normalized phase characteristics for normal TE01 mode of a circular waveguide, loaded with a ferrite rod, magnetized in azimuthal direction and a dielectric tube, are investigated. It is found out that the structure possesses phase shifter operation properties in a restricted frequency band. For certain geometries of both media the normalized differential phase shift provided is larger, but its frequency dependence is more pronounced than in case of a waveguide, entirely filled with ferrite.
