Rigorous Analysis of TE0n Modes in a Circular Anisotropic Waveguide

The boundary-value problem for normal TE0n modes in a coaxial anisotropic waveguide is integrated in terms of complex Kummer and Tricomi confluent hypergeometric functions. Some basic properties of the same are discussed. A numerical evaluation of the characteristic equation of the structure is performed, providing computation of its phase characteristics. A study of the latter is presented.
