 The theory of azimuthally magnetized circular ferrite waveguide, propagating rotationally symmetric TE waves is presented, built in terms of the complex Tricomi confluent hypergeometric functions. The transmission characteristics of the structure, figured in normalized form for different geometry and material parameters, reveal its potentialities as an isolator, phaser and remanent cut-off switch in the centimeter and millimeter wave devices for satellite communications systems.
