Simplified Analysis of Azimuthally Magnetized Ferrite-Loaded Circular Waveguide

An approximate method is proposed for determining the field components, Poynting vector and characteristic equation of a circular waveguide, filled with latching ferrite, magnetized azimuthally to remanence, under TE0n mode excitation. Calculated results show the effect on field distribution and power flow of ferrite remanent magnetization.
