Slow TE0n Modes in a Circular Ferrite Waveguide

Some properties of the slow TE0n modes, supported by an azimuthally magnetized circular ferrite waveguide are studied. The analysis is made in terms of real Kummer confluent hypergeometric function, Generalized Laguerre polynomials and Poisson-Charlier polynomials. Two types of phase characteristics are plotted, indicating that the structure could sustain waves in two intervals of variation of off-diagonal ferrite permeability tensor element.
