An iterative method for exact computation of the differential phase shift, provided by an azimuthally magnetized coaxial ferrite waveguide phase shifter, working in normal TE01 mode, is developed. It consists in the repeated tabulation of a column matrix T with real elements A, B, C, defined as a function of the K numbers, depending on the roots of the characteristic equation of the structure and of its parameters. Simple formulae, involving the A, B, C numbers give the differential phase shift.
