 The complex Tricomi functions are introduced as exact wave functions for propagation of normal TE0n modes in circular waveguides with coaxially positioned azimuthally magnetized ferrite layer of double-connected cross-section. An original form of characteristic equation of the ferrite coaxial waveguide is derived by the arguments of Tricomi functions. Using their specially tabulated values, a numerical solution of the equation is done, giving the eigenvalue spectrum and phase curves of geometry.
