 Examined and interpreted are the transmission characteristics of a circular guide with radially stratified azimuthally magnetized ferrite and dielectric, operating in the TE01 propagating mode. The advantages and drawbacks of the configuration in practical designs of digital phasers for microwave frequencies are outlined.
