Circular Waveguide Containing Azimuthally Magnetized Ferrite: Field Distribution of TE01 Mode

Two methods for computing the electromagnetic fields in an azimuthally magnetized ferrite-filled circular waveguide are outlined. Representative results are shown, illustrating the distribution of components E0,Hr,Hz and Poynting's vector of TE01 mode along the guide radius. The graphs permit to select the most appropriate configuration and material filling in constructing circular remanent phase shifters, operating in the TE01 mode.
