 The conceptual framework of Geography and Economics training in the Bulgarian school is in process of educational reform and building new normative-structural models and ideas applied in the context of adaptation and integration to the European and world educational paradigms and values. The new procedural framework determines school geographic education as a national priority and a learning process that involves learning, educating and socializing students. Throughout schooling, the general education of geography and economics is composed by group key competencies: competences in the field of Bulgarian language; communication skills in foreign languages; mathematical competence and basic competences in the field of natural sciences and technologies; digital competence; learning skills; social and civic competences; initiative and entrepreneurship; cultural competence and creativity skills; skills to support sustainable development and a healthy lifestyle and sport. This requires key competences are interdependent and a combination of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for personal development of the individual throughout life, for the construction of active citizenship and participation in social life, as well as its suitability for realization of the labor market. Geography and economics training is the bearer of contemporary social realities and the opportunity to form an objective worldview and a geographical picture in each person's life. The situational analysis in the article is based on normative documents and reveals the complexity of the curriculum content of the social order to school education, including geographic education. The main purpose the teaching of geography is the formation of modern worldview, geographical literacy and geography culture. The article presents a study of the conceptual model of geographic education in the secondary school in Bulgaria by degree and stage of education. The state educational standard and the curricula are analyzed, outlining the problem and the specificity, the situational and didactical aspects of the practical and applied character of the training. The results of the research reveal the logic and the structural-content of the geographic science, the school content, the contemporary didactic concepts of training and learning, the realization of interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary relations and interactions, the traditions and innovations in the geography and economics training , the methods and the techniques of training, the participation of information and communication technologies in the teaching of geography, etc. In the new educational realities of 2016 in the Bulgarian school geographic education, some of the traditions in geography training of natural, socio-economic and regional geography are justified and preserved. The results of the research on the conceptual framework of geographic education in the secondary school in Bulgaria are derived from the application of content-analysis and comparative analysis, situational and conceptual analysis, active-functional analysis, developing intellectual maps, systematic and complex approach, etc.
