In recent years( especially after entry into force of the Pre-school and School Education Act, the Inclusive Education Ordinance, the Civic, Health, Environmental and Intercultural Education Ordinance ) pedagogical specialists in Bulgaria have been working in conditions of two similar in purpose educational politics, such as inclusive education and intercultural education ( educational integration of children and students from ethnic minorities in particular ). In practical terms within our educational system we witness the gradual neglect of the intercultural aspect in favour of the inclusive processes. Even more: it seems that administrative prioritization of regulated general and additional personal development support is gradually but permanently beginning to show affinity to "absorption" and probably depersonalization of the specific features and values of intercultural education.. Using content analysis of a number of publications in the field of the two educational politics, the paper underlines some general and different characteristics. Being a supporter of the parallel existence of both educational politics, I have underlined enough similarities as well as significant differences to have reason to claim that at this point of development of Bulgarian education these two should develop in parallel, preserving their traditional features and values, without the affinity to "absorption" of any of them, without confrontation between them and on the way of mutual cooperation and enrichment in all aspects..
