OPPORTUNITIES FOR USING THE COMPETENCY APPROACH IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT WITHIN THE ORGANIZATTION
This report presents a theoretical study on the use of the competency approach in human resource management within the organization. The term "competency" has been clarified by investigating its origin first. Оne of the most correct definitions of the concept has been presented. The relationship of the term "competency" with the knowledge, skills, behavior, work performance of individuals at the workplace has been studied. An exemplary set of competencies, required for each job and specific workplace, has been presented. It is set out that the competency approach is the impact on the individual by various techniques in order to use his/her skills and deploy his/her potential to reach the goals of the organization.
