Students’ activities in the spare time are an important socializing factor. In the school age the foundation of specific personal features are laid. The activities involving physical exercises and sport in the free time of the students are a matter of personal interest, inner persuasion and need for a motor activity i.e. a matter of the satisfaction of the activity itself. The aim of the current research is to establish the support for students in the initial stage of educational degree for participation in organized sport events of parents, teachers and schoolmates. The participation of the students in the survey is voluntary and anonymous. The students of the examined age clearly declare their motivation for participation in organized sport events. The surveyed receive the support of their parents, schoolmates and teachers for participation in an organized educational and practice orientated sport.
