After the last global financial crisis tangible changes have occurred in “sale – demand” relation. Undoubtedly this affected the hospitality branch in Bulgaria as well. The overbuilding processes and the reduced purchasing power of those who consume hotel services are only two of the factors - prerequisites for the increasing number of fastidious clients. Nowadays they wish to buy more services at a higher quality and lower price. This reality is compelling for hoteliers to look for different ways of satisfying the contemporary needs. The existing hotels on Bulgarian market should be flexible in their everyday decision making process. Even more difficult becomes this in competitive environment with the presence of competitors in grey economy. In this report the accent is put on privately possessed hotels where managers often meet obstacles in finding innovative decisions for controlling the sales and marketing process together with achieving high guest satisfaction level. Thanks to some alternatives available оn the Internet, high revenue results may become a real fact.
